Rahavan Yoganathan - PARTNER & COO

Rahavan is Chief Operating Officer and Partner at Quintet Partners, bringing over 20 years of experience in financial advisory, corporate finance, and operational optimisation. Since joining Quintet he plays a key role across the portfolio with responsibility for operational and financial oversight, fund administration, investor relations, and regulatory compliance. Rahavan also leads post-acquisition initiatives to drive value creation across Quintet’s portfolio.

Prior to Quintet, Rahavan co-founded Saltire Capital Partners, a mid-market corporate advisory firm recognised in the AFR Fast Starters list. As co-Managing Director, he advised on over $500 million in transactions across 17 industries, supporting founders and funds with growth strategy, M&A, and capital raising. Previously, Rahavan spent seven years at Crowe Horwath (now Findex), where he was Partner and then Managing Partner of Corporate Finance. He led national advisory teams focused on performance improvement, operational strategy, and transaction execution across a diverse client base.

Earlier in his career he held senior executive roles at PwC and EY, where he worked on large-scale, complex public and private transactions. At PwC, Rahavan was a Senior Executive in the Performance Consulting division, delivering strategic reviews, performance improvement programs, and M&A support for major corporates including Westpac and Optus. He was seconded into Singtel Optus as Acting Group Manager – Finance & Treasury, where he oversaw group cash flow management, financial reporting, and treasury operations. At EY, Rahavan served in the Financial Accounting & Advisory Services team in Sydney and spent two years in EY London’s Transaction Advisory Services practice. He led buy-side and vendor due diligence engagements across Europe for private equity and corporate clients, and in Australia advised on the privatisation of state-owned utilities, corporate restructures, and strategic financial modelling for clients such as Sydney Water, NSW Treasury, and TransGrid.

Rahavan holds a Master of Commerce from UNSW and a Bachelor of Commerce from Bond University. He is a Chartered Accountant, Certified Practising Accountant, and Certified Internal Auditor.
